1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SizeSnap at https://sizesnap-two.vercel.app, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of SizeSnap immediately. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses or uses the service.

SizeSnap is operated by Mahamudul Hasan, an independent developer based in Bangladesh. References to "we," "us," or "SizeSnap" in these terms refer to this individual and the service they operate.

2. Description of Service

SizeSnap provides a free, browser-based image resizing and compression tool. Core features include:

• Resizing images to user-specified dimensions and file sizes (in KB)
• Compressing images to exact KB targets using a binary search algorithm
• Format conversion between JPEG, PNG, and WebP
• Signature image processing (whitespace crop, color conversion)
• Bulk image processing with ZIP download
• Optional Cloudinary-hosted image upload
• An educational blog with image-related guides

The service is provided free of charge. Revenue is generated through non-intrusive display advertising via Google AdSense. No premium tier or paid subscription exists.

3. Permitted Use

You are permitted to use SizeSnap for lawful purposes, including:

• Resizing personal photos for government and institutional forms
• Compressing images for digital submission to educational or professional portals
• Creating passport-sized or signature-sized images for personal use
• Format conversion for general image utility purposes
• Reading our blog for educational information

SizeSnap may be used for personal, educational, and professional tasks. Commercial use of the tool itself (e.g., resizing images for a business) is also permitted, provided it does not violate the prohibited use section below.

4. Prohibited Use

You may not use SizeSnap for any of the following purposes:

• Illegal activity: Using the tool to process, distribute, or store images that are illegal in your jurisdiction or country.
• Document fraud: Altering official documents, ID cards, passports, or other government-issued materials with the intent to deceive or defraud.
• Automated scraping or abuse: Using automated scripts, bots, or programs to excessively load, scrape, or abuse SizeSnap's systems.
• Redistribution: Copying, reselling, or representing SizeSnap's tools or content as your own without explicit written permission.
• Harmful content: Processing or distributing images that contain hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful content.
• Interference: Attempting to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to any part of SizeSnap's systems, servers, or connected services.

Violation of these prohibited use terms may result in being blocked from accessing the service and, where appropriate, being reported to relevant authorities.

5. No Warranty

SizeSnap is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses
• The results produced by SizeSnap will meet specific institutional requirements
• The quality or accuracy of any output will meet your expectations in every case
• The service will always be available or that technical issues will not occur

Image size requirements for government forms, exams, and institutional portals change frequently. SizeSnap's presets reflect publicly available information at time of writing but may not always be current. Always verify requirements directly with the relevant institution before submitting any form.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SizeSnap and its operator (Mahamudul Hasan) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Rejection of a form or application due to image specifications
• Loss of data resulting from browser or device issues
• Damages from unauthorized access or technical failures
• Reliance on content published in our blog or elsewhere on the site

Your use of SizeSnap is entirely at your own risk. We strongly encourage you to keep original copies of all images before processing them.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on SizeSnap — including but not limited to the blog articles, design elements, tool interface, preset configurations, and code — is the intellectual property of SizeSnap and its operator. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any of this content without express written permission.

The images you process using SizeSnap remain your property. By using the tool, you grant us no rights to your images. During standard client-side processing, your images are never transmitted to us.

If you voluntarily use the optional Cloudinary upload feature, the uploaded images are subject to Cloudinary's Terms of Service, not ours.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

SizeSnap may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. These links are provided for your convenience. We have no control over the content or practices of third-party sites and accept no responsibility for them. Visiting linked third-party sites is at your own discretion and risk.

9. Service Availability and Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue SizeSnap — or any part of it — at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, or any other aspect of the service at our discretion.

When significant changes are made to these Terms, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of SizeSnap after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of SizeSnap shall be resolved in the courts of Bangladesh, unless applicable local laws require otherwise.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
